PocketMonitor is an official SHFTD Audio product. This Privacy Policy explains what information PocketMonitor uses, how it is used, and the choices available to you when you use the iPhone app and companion sender plugin.
Information We Use
PocketMonitor is designed to work primarily over your local network.
- Local network information: the app discovers compatible sender plugins on your local Wi-Fi network and connects to the sender you choose.
- On-device settings: the app stores basic local preferences such as trial listen usage and audio output settings on your device.
- Purchase status: if you buy or restore PocketMonitor Pro, Apple processes the transaction and RevenueCat is used to validate and manage your entitlement status.
- Diagnostic information: Apple and RevenueCat may process technical information needed to complete purchases, restore purchases, and keep subscription status in sync.
Information We Do Not Intend To Collect
- PocketMonitor does not require you to create an account.
- PocketMonitor does not upload your audio streams to SHFTD Audio servers for normal app operation.
- PocketMonitor does not use third-party advertising SDKs inside the app.
How We Use Information
- To discover and connect to the PocketMonitor sender plugin.
- To provide audio playback and monitor trial usage locally.
- To unlock, validate, and restore PocketMonitor Pro purchases.
- To troubleshoot product issues and improve compatibility over time.
Sharing
SHFTD Audio does not sell your personal information. Purchase-related data may be processed by Apple and RevenueCat as needed to complete transactions and manage entitlements. Their handling of data is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Your Choices
You can stop using PocketMonitor at any time, remove the app from your device, and manage or cancel subscriptions through your App Store account settings.
